This hands-on Home Economics class is designed to equip students with essential life skills through fun, creative, and practical projects. - Cooking & Baking – Prepare simple, healthy meals and baked goods from scratch
- Sewing & Quilting – Learn hand and machine sewing basics, and complete small quilting projects
- Budgeting & Money Management – Understand how to plan a basic budget, save money, and shop wisely
- Gardening – Explore how to grow and care for herbs, vegetables, and indoor plants
- Crochet – Practice basic stitches and create simple crochet items
- Cricut Crafts – Use a Cricut machine to make personalized home décor and seasonal crafts
- Cleaning & Organization – Learn age-appropriate cleaning routines and clever organization tips and tricks
Each class will be interactive, project-based, and designed to build real-world confidence. Whether it's decorating a space with homemade art, creating a handmade gift, or planning a weekly meal budget, students will take pride in their new skills and accomplishments.
